Crafted in Melton Mowbray, known as the home of pork pies, this festive masterpiece is a collaboration with celebrated Chef Calum Franklin – dubbed 'The King of Pies' by Jamie Oliver for his extraordinary pie creations. Our baker dates back to 1851 and has a rich history of baking award winning pies. Encased in a hot water crust pastry, the pie features a delectable filling of British duck, outdoor-reared British pork, ham, and chestnuts, all complemented by a fragrant apple and Calvados jelly. Its dome shape, designed by Calum during his time as Executive Head Chef at The Holborn Dining Room, has become his signature, adorned with a beautiful Parisian-inspired pastry swirl.
